Editorial Policy

SeniorPhoneGuide guides exist to help beginners do one thing successfully: tap the right button. This policy explains how we earn that trust.
How our guides are written
- Steps come from official sources: every tutorial's steps are checked against official manufacturer and operating-system documentation (Apple Support, Google and Android help pages) before publishing.
- No fabricated screenshots: we do not create fake or doctored screenshots. Where images would help, we describe exactly what you should see on your screen in words.
- Menus are version- and model-dependent: phones differ. We note where wording or menu locations change between iPhone models, Android versions, or brands — and each guide's troubleshooting section covers the most common differences.
- Plain language first: every step explains what a button does and why you are pressing it. Nothing assumed, nothing skipped.
What we never do
- We do not give medical or financial advice. Scam-safety guides teach recognition and prevention; they are not legal or financial counsel.
- We do not accept payment to recommend or rank products (see our affiliate disclosure).
- We do not invent specifications, prices, or test results.
Corrections
Phone software changes often. If a step no longer matches your phone, tell us — we verify corrections against official documentation and publish fixes promptly. Factual errors are corrected, never quietly deleted.
